K9 Central is considered an essential service. We will remain open during the Ontario wide 14-day shutdown to continue to serve our clients. We know that keeping pets on a routine, including regular exercise and socialization, plays a significant role in maintaining their overall health.

We will continue to offer our regular services such as Boarding, Daycare and Pet Supplies.

At this time we have postponed our group training, however we are offering our current clients weekly video's and training notes to keep them and their pets interacting. Dear Clients

We want to assure you that we take the health and well-being of our community, customers, and staff members very seriously. Like you, we're closely monitoring the quickly developing effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, we will practice social distancing to ensure the safety of both staff and clients.  We have implemented the following processes that we will be using on top of the stringent cleaning/disinfecting procedures we use on a day to day basis: including, enhanced cleaning protocols with particular focus on high traffic and high contact areas.  Hand sanitizer available for our clients and our staff at all main drop off points.

Please know that we are still open for Boarding, Daycare, and Grooming and are fully able to provide excellent care to your pets at all times.  

We have created a procedure at drop off and pick up time that will help keep everyone safe:


Valet or main door drop off services.  Your pet's groomer will gather your grooming instructions through the window to the left of our main entrance door. Once instructions have been taken the groomer will greet you and your dog at the main door.  We will be using our own slip leads and will first place the lead around your dog's neck, we are asking our clients, to remove their leashes and collars and take them back home with them. Our office will be contacting you over the phone, for payment by credit card or e-transfer.  


Drop off will be at the first door on the side of our main building.  We ask that our clients wait for the client ahead of them to finish with their dogs drop off before entering the building.  Keeping 6 ft distance from other clients at all times. We will get all of our boarding client's information over the phone, and arrange payment before drop off.  Pick up for Suites and Play-All-Day will be at the Play-All-Day building.  Please note we will be offering discounts on our daycare and boarding programs for all health care and essential workers.  Please contact us for further information.

For the time being, we have temporarily closed our training services.  And will be offering online training along with phone consults.  Please contact our office for pricing details. 

We will miss seeing you in our store during this crazy period, but we're pleased to offer some special services created especially for you during this time.  Curbside pick up of pet food and products such as Mega Raw, Keoni, Fromms, FreshPet, along with our specialty products.  Contact our office at 905-623-3940 or to place your order.

Due to COVID-19 K9Central Pet Resort, Training and Spa Inc. all training classes will be postponed until March 30th. We will continue to assess the environment and keep all of our clients updated via our Facebook page

If you are currently attending a class or will be starting a class within this time period as an added bonus, we will be sending your current weeks’ lesson plan along with video instruction via email. Our trainers will be filming the instruction of each lesson such as Puppy Kindergarten, Basic Manners & Radical Recall.
NOTE: the video option does not include Agility, Flyball or Puppy Gym.

Families, Visitors & Staff

Due to the Recent COVID-19 outbreak, we now require you to answer the following questions for your protection and health and safety of our staff and other clients.

Are you experiencing any of the following symptoms (mild or severe)

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Difficulty breathing/shortness of breath
  • Have traveled to any area with an ongoing spread of COVID-19
  • Live with someone who recently traveled to an area with and ongoing spread of COVID-19
  • Have been in contact with someone known to have COVID-19
  • Experiencing symptoms similar to the Flu or COVID-19.

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, please refrain from entering the office. However, call us at 905-623-3940 and we will deliver your pet or purchased product to your vehicle.
