Standard Poodle Rescue
Sometimes there is just one dog that changes a person’s life. In Morgan’s case it was Tres; a beautiful, black standard poodle that was her heart and soul. Tres led Morgan into the SuperDogs, which led her into SuperDog Central, which morphed into K9 Central. Really, Morgan is all she is today because of this one dog.
In honour of Tres’ memory, Morgan, along with a group of dedicated volunteers, provides shelter and love to standard poodles or any breed of dog in need.
Because every dog deserves a chance. And every dog deserves a great home.

Dogs currently looking for their forever home
Meet Lev Tahor. Lev – Pure, Tahor – Heart, Pure of Heart – a perfect name for a gorgeous poodle.
This four year old boy needs to find the fun in life. He is just beautiful, but is definitely more than just good looks. Lev was not understood in his last home and as a result, he needs to learn to become the goofy, happy poodle we know he can be.
We will be looking for a home with plenty of dog knowledge and for someone willing to continue to train Lev. He can be nervous with other dogs and with some people.
If you are interested in meeting Lev please don’t call, send us an email and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Our rescue is run by volunteers and we try hard to return all inquiry emails within 24 hours. Please note that an application and adoption fee will be required.
Eleven Toy Poodles Surrendered
Sometimes standard poodle rescue gets into just the most fun situations. Due to family circumstances, a breeder of toy poodles had to surrender nine of her girls and three of her boys. Yup. Eleven toy poodles. These poodles are sweet, fun and extremely good natured. And did I say gorgeous? Gorgeous. If you have never shared your life with a toy poodle, it’s seriously too much fun.
